London Day Trip

We took the Oxford Tube to London for a day trip and it was amazing. A big change from Oxford. There were many more people and lots more tourists. This is a photo of most of the students from orange county campus in front of Buckingham Palace! It was very large and beautiful. We saw the changing of the guards ceremony as well. It was an experience that I will not forget.

Scavenger Hunt Week One- Cigarette Warnings

Cigarrette smoking is proven to cause cancer, birth defects and other health problems. In the UK, we have noticed a large percentage of the population smokes cigarrettes and use other forms of tobacco products. Unlike the US, the UK put very large smoking warnings on the cigarrete boxes. The law in the UK requires the warning to cover at least one third of the box. These are some examples of the warnings placed on the boxes as well as a sign to prevent people from smoking near a the Radcliff Children's Hospital.

The following is information about specific Viruses prevalent in society. It gives detailed facts about each disease and directions on how to prevent the spread of the diseases. This is important because the public may not be knowledgeable about a specific disease outbreak within the community.
